HOLY TRINITY is the government of the Kingdom of God, of our country; Heaven.
Definition of a kingdom: n. [king and dom, jurisdiction.] The territory or country subject to a king; an undivided territory under the dominion of a king or monarch.
In Scripture, the government or universal dominion of God:
1 Chronicles 29, “… Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the Heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the Kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of Thee, and Thou reignest over all; and in Thine hand is power and might; and in Thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank Thee, and praise Thy glorious name …”
Psalm 145, “…Thy Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations…” Our King; JESUS CHRIST & His Kingdom:
Isaiah 9:6-7, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Ephesians 1:19-22, NLT, “I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the Heavenly realms. Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.”
Who “WE” are ?
- Saints –
Psalm 50:5, “Gather My saints together unto Me; those that have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
- Ambassadors –
2 Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
- Body of Christ –
1 Corinthians 12:12, NLT, “The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.”
- sons of God –
Romans 8:19, “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Why are “WE” here ?
Psalm 82, (NKJV), “God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly, And show partiality to the wicked? Selah Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked. They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable. I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.” Arise, O god, judge the earth; For you shall inherit all nations.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5, “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
THEE HOLY TRINITY … As you see each TRINITY Flag is based on scripture. For a great take on what the Holy TRINITY is, hereis an article that explains God so well. (Excerpt from Kenneth Copeland Ministries) “… Although the word Trinity itself is not found in the Bible, the concept and revelation of the threefold activity of the Godhead begins at Creation when God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…” (Genesis 1:26). One of the ways we are made in the image of God is our own triune makeup of spirit, soul and body. Each is different in characteristic and function, yet together they make up one man …” For the full article … http://www.kcm.org/real-help/article/understanding-trinity
