APOSTROPHE makes a Difference

between GOD’S & Gods !!!

An apostrophe is a punctuation symbol, a mark used to show possession belonging to someone or something. For instance, I have noticed the use of Gods. I know some are referring to the things of God, but we are giving mixed messages. There is only one true and living God, any other god is a small “g”. We don’t want to make anyone believe or continue to believe that there is more than one true and living God.

Think about it, we know what we mean, but for someone who doesn’t follow our teachings or whatever we do; they will read this coming from us. They then may make their own assumptions or maybe wrong beliefs from it. We who have someone posting on social media for us, the public believe these posts are from us. Shouldn’t we line up, as we follow Christ?

Exodus 20:3 (KJV), Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 34:14 (KJV), For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Romans 8:1 (KJV), There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 12:2 (KJV),  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV),  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

God's Big Ideas

There is an understanding about the use of links for websites or even hashtags. I realize that the links and hashtags may want lowercase letters without symbols. Do you know that we can create anything, like our Father God?  We are creators, even in the technology field, so why do we have this issue? We are to be problem solvers for the world.  We are not to create things that minimize God nor His authority (ex. to spell His Name with a small “g” and of course, so much more). Let us allow God to be in the forefront of every creation and decision we make. We will then see and experience less problems in this world.

Daniel 1:20 (KJV),  And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

Exodus 31:3 (AMPC),  And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and ability, in understanding and intelligence, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

Isaiah 43:15 (KJV),  I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

Psalm 8:4-6 (AMPC),  What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet

2 Corinthians 5:19-21 (NIV), that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Deuteronomy 1:11 (KJV),  (The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

1 John 4:17 (KJV),  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Let us stop the confusion, the misconception, the playing into the devil’s hand by saying and doing what he wants us to say and do. Let us say what God says and speak the Word only. This is not to say that everything that comes out of our mouth is suppose to be a quote from the Bible. This is to make the decision to say what God says rather than what the devil says. The devil usually speaks to our mind, through our thoughts. He also uses people, so we really need to know when things are not from God.

Think of the apostrophe like the tongue or even a rudder of a ship. Though they are small, they are very powerful. The apostrophe has a mighty purpose when it is connected to anything of God’s.

Genesis 3:1 (KJV), Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

Psalm 119:171-173 (KJV),  My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

Proverbs 12:5-7 (MSG),  The thinking of principled people makes for justice; the plots of degenerates corrupt. The words of the wicked kill; the speech of the upright saves. Wicked people fall to pieces—there’s nothing to them; the homes of good people hold together.

Proverbs 15:4 (KJV),  A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV),  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Matthew 7:15 (KJV),  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 6:33 (AMPC),  But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.

Matthew 8:8 (KJV),  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Ephesians 6:10-12 (KJV),  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

James 3:4 (AMPC),  Likewise, look at the ships: though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines.

1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV),  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV),  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

1 Corinthians 3:23 (KJV),  And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

Galatians 3:28-29 (KJV),  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The Way of the Lord

For those of us who watches what we say to line up with the Word of God, we should also be mindful of what we write, yes also posting. We are still communicating something, whether to the person who is reading what we write, but especially to our spirit. We can confuse our spirit so much that our actions will not be what we thought, because of what and how it was said. I am not referring to some slang or even good punctuation. We all makes mistakes & even say things we don’t mean to say at times. We play into the hands & the plans of the devil when we say our words the opposite of what they were meant.

There are some great slang words or quotes, that gets to what God says in His Word & there are some that twists the Word of God. We must know we are saying what God says & not what the devil need us to say in order for him to keep some in bondage and refuse to return to bondage. Believe me these words are not cute, even coming out of a child’s mouth or ours, recognize who is benefiting (in a bad way) from those words.

Sometimes slang is almost the only way to say what God says that hit the nail on the head, so to speak, sometimes that plain English language doesn’t do justice to the depth of what God meant. Of course, praying in tongues; our prayer language is certainly always the will of God and Holy Spirit will give us the ability to translate what God is saying to our spirit and to our mind. Let us be willing and obedient to God !!!

John 10:10 (KJV),   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

1 Corinthians 14:14-17 (MSG),  So, when you pray in your private prayer language, don’t hoard the experience for yourself. Pray for the insight and ability to bring others into that intimacy. If I pray in tongues, my spirit prays but my mind lies fallow, and all that intelligence is wasted. So what’s the solution? The answer is simple enough. Do both. I should be spiritually free and expressive as I pray, but I should also be thoughtful and mindful as I pray. I should sing with my spirit, and sing with my mind. If you give a blessing using your private prayer language, which no one else understands, how can some outsider who has just shown up and has no idea what’s going on know when to say “Amen”? Your blessing might be beautiful, but you have very effectively cut that person out of it.

Isaiah 1:19 (KJV),  If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Romans 12:1-3 (KJV),  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Ephesians 5:2 (KJV),  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Romans 8:14 (KJV),  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 (KJV),  And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

Romans 8:19 (AMPC),  For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV),  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Isaiah 51:3-4 (AMPC),  For the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of song or instrument of praise. Listen to Me [the Lord], O My people, and give ear to Me, O My nation; for a [divine] law will go forth from Me, and I will establish My justice for a light to the peoples.

We are claiming things by saying them. Once it is here, how do we expect it to go away, if we keep claiming it?

Someone says,

  • my arthritis is flaring up
  • my memory is bad
  • my headache is coming back
  • I can’t get out of debt.

We can reverse or cancel the things we say, that we didn’t want in the first place, into the things we do want. We have to say what God says about it in His Word.

If we have to say something, like what the doctor diagnosed us with or what is overdue. We must find way of say it, without making it ours, because sickness, disease nor debt belong to us, as a child of God.

This is not referring to being irresponsible for the decision we knowingly make. God does give us a way, we can go to Him and confess them, change our way of thinking, which led to that manifestation of that issue. God will forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. When we didn’t know something or thinking it was the right thing to do, like Eve in the Garden, God gives us this way of escape.

Women of God, we have another opportunity to have Heaven on Earth. In order for this to manifest in our lives, we must confess the Word of God. Say what God says about us. Believe it receive it when we pray and as we forgive.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV),  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,

Matthew 16:19 (AMPC),  I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

Mark 11:22-25 (NKJV),  So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Galatians 2:20 (KJV),  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV),  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

1 John 1:9 (KJV),  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We know that God’s Word created the heavens and the earth, and framed the worlds. Remember life or death is in the power of the tongue, so we can frame our lives by saying what God says. We can do things God’s way, when we do, by our faith in action, we will have heaven on earth in our lives.

Things to say and scriptures that relates to the fulfillment of God’s promises to us …

  • God loves me !!!
  • I am the righteousness of God in Christ.
  • No weapon form against me shall prosper.
  • Greater is He that is in me, than he  that is in the world.
  • Calling those things that be not as though they were.
  • I am redeemed from  the law; poverty, sickness and death.

Romans 5:7-9 (KJV),  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Psalm 118:17 (KJV),  I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

1 Peter 1:25 (KJV),  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (KJV),  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Ephesians 1:3-6 (KJV),  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:16-23 (KJV), Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians 3:9-12 (KJV),  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:  To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Ephesians 3:13-21 (KJV),  Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

I am not perfect, no-bodies is perfect, but thank God that our born again spirit of God is perfect. We now have to renew our minds with the Word of God, so that our mind & body can be trained to be led by the Holy Spirit through our spirit. ~ CG

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMPC),  But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

Ephesians 4:12-16 (KJV),  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:  From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

(My disclaimer and disclosure: I do not confess to be an English language teacher, but I am a son of God and I know what belongs to my Father God and I pray to always know and do what He wants of me.)

This blog and other media is never meant to offend anyone, my only duty is to obey God and I pray it is yours as well. This blog is meant to bring out things, we should be aware of as individuals and as a whole; the body of Christ.
