JESUS OVERCAME, SO WE CAN OVERCOME !!!
While reading, The Power of Neuroplasticity by Dr. Shad Helmstetter, I looked back on my life & discovered I have always been protected by God through my parents, family, surroundings or whoever. I also discovered that if anything did affect me negatively, I overcame it; “I AM AN OVERCOMER”, here are some scriptures …
1 Corinthians 15:3-5 New Living Translation (NLT), I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve.
1 Corinthians 15:17-20 New Living Translation (NLT), And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins. In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost! And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.
1 Corinthians 15:50-55 New Living Translation (NLT), What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever. But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
Colossians 2:14-15 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC), Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].
Colossians 2:14-15 The Message (MSG), Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It’s not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you’re already in—insiders—not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. If it’s an initiation ritual you’re after, you’ve already been through it by submitting to baptism. Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive—right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets.
John 16:33 King James Version (KJV), These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1 John 4:4 King James Version (KJV), Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 5:4 King James Version (KJV), For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:5 King James Version (KJV), Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Revelation 2:7 King James Version (KJV), He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:11 King James Version (KJV), He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Revelation 2:17 King James Version (KJV), He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 2:26 King James Version (KJV), And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Revelation 3:5 King James Version (KJV), He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:12 King James Version (KJV), Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
“God gave each one of us a gift that He doesn’t take back. Tribulation of life may cover it up to make us think so, but if we focus on God’s promises to us, He will guide us, give us wisdom, when we ask & the revelation will flow. We have witty inventions & creative ideas in abundance inside of us, so let us bring them out, so we can continually advance the Kingdom of God. Let think on these things & stay focused, Amen !!!”
Romans 11:29 King James Version (KJV), For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Romans 11:29 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC), For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]
Romans 12:6-9 King James Version (KJV), Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Revelation 12:11 King James Version (KJV), And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
