Established in Righteousness: Living Set Apart for the Kingdom of God
January is a month of alignment, grounding, and consecration.
As we enter a new year, God is not calling us to strive—but to stand. Righteousness is our position in Christ, our covering before God, and our foundation for Kingdom living. This month, we focus on being established in righteousness, walking confidently in who we are in Christ, and living set apart for His purposes.
Week 1: Righteousness Revealed — Our Position in Christ
Scriptures:
📖 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) – “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
📖 Romans 5:1 (KJV) – “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
📖 Philippians 3:9 (KJV) – “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness… but that which is through the faith of Christ.”
Reflection:
Righteousness is not something we earn—it is something we receive. Through Christ, we have been placed in right standing with God. This is the foundation of our faith and the starting point for Kingdom living. When God looks at us, He sees us through the finished work of Jesus.
Understanding our righteous position brings peace, confidence, and stability. We no longer live trying to prove ourselves to God; instead, we live from acceptance, not for acceptance.
Righteousness removes condemnation and empowers us to walk boldly as sons and daughters of the Kingdom.
💡 Declare daily: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”
Refuse guilt, shame, or condemnation—stand firmly in what Christ has already accomplished.
