The Risen King: Advancing the Kingdom Through the Victory of Christ
Resurrection is not only an event—it is the declaration that Jesus Christ reigns as King. Through His life, death and resurrection, the Kingdom of God was revealed with power, restoring humanity’s access to God and establishing victory over sin, death, and darkness.
This month we reflect on the journey to the cross, the triumph of the resurrection, and the Kingdom authority believers now carry because Christ lives.
Week 4: Kingdom Authority — Living in the Power of the Risen Christ
Scriptures:
📖 Matthew 28:18 (KJV) – “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
📖 Luke 10:19 (KJV) – “Behold, I give unto you power… over all the power of the enemy.”
📖 Ephesians 1:19–20 (KJV) – “The exceeding greatness of his power… which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead.”
Reflection:
The resurrection did more than prove Christ’s power—it transferred Kingdom authority to His followers. Jesus declared that all authority belonged to Him, and then He commissioned believers to continue His work on earth.
Because the King lives, His people carry His authority. We are ambassadors of the Kingdom, called to represent Christ’s love, truth, and power in the world. The resurrection empowers us to overcome fear, resist darkness, and walk confidently in faith.
Kingdom living means recognizing that we are not powerless. Through Christ, we are equipped to bring light into every place God sends us.
💡 Pray for boldness to walk in the authority Christ has given you. Ask God to use you as a witness of His Kingdom.
