Shining the Light of the Kingdom: Reflecting the Nature and Glory of Christ

Jesus declared, "Ye are the light of the world." As citizens of God's Kingdom, we are called not only to believe His truth but to live it in a way that reveals His character to those around us. The light we carry is not our own, it is the life of Christ shining through us by the Holy Spirit.

Light brings clarity where there is confusion, hope where there is despair, and direction where there is uncertainty. As we continue abiding in Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us, His light becomes visible through our words, attitudes, decisions, and actions. The world does not need more darkness, it needs believers who faithfully reflect the glory of the King.

This month, we focus on shining the light of Christ, walking in His truth, reflecting His glory, serving others through good works, and carrying His light into a world that desperately needs His hope.

🌿 Week 3: Reflecting the Glory of the King

Scriptures:
📖 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) – "But we all, with open face beholding... are changed into the same image from glory to glory..."

📖 Exodus 34:29 (KJV) – "The skin of his face shone while he talked with him."

📖 Colossians 3:12–14 (KJV) – "Put on therefore... bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind..."

Reflection:
The more time we spend in God's presence, the more His character is reflected in our lives. Moses' face shone after being with the Lord, and today the Holy Spirit transforms us from the inside out so that we increasingly reflect the image of Christ.

God's glory is revealed not only through miraculous signs but also through transformed hearts. Compassion, humility, forgiveness, patience, and love become visible evidence that Christ is living within us.

Our greatest testimony is often the life we live. As we continually behold Christ through His Word and presence, His glory becomes evident in how we treat others and how we respond to life's circumstances.

💡 Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal one area where Christ's character can shine more brightly through your life this week.
