📖 Romans 6:9 (KJV) – “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”
📖 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) – “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Reflection:
Resurrection Sunday is the proclamation that Jesus Christ is alive and reigning. The empty tomb is Heaven’s declaration that death could not hold the King.
Through the resurrection, Jesus demonstrated His complete authority over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. The same power that raised Christ from the dead now lives in those who believe.
The resurrection also confirms that God’s promises are trustworthy. Everything Jesus spoke came to pass. Because He lives, we have hope, victory, and eternal life.
The Kingdom of God is not built on a memory—it is built on the living presence of the risen King.
